• LaserWriter (version 6.0.1 - for output to color PostScript® devices)
• ReadMe (this document)
Often there is a need to create a PostScript® file to one's disk. One such example is that may service bureaus require a PS file for Hi-resolution output. The standard LaserWriter driver is capable of creating this file, although it's ablility is a bit hidden.
In the standard print dialog there is a "Disk File" checkbox which is not visible and therefore imposible to select. All I have done is to make this checkbox visible by using ResEdit. Other than this modification, these are the very same, standard LaserWriter drivers that Apple shipped with System 6.0.3 and 6.0.5 respectively.
This feature was brought to my attention in MacWeek (10-16-90) in David Ramsey's column on page 96.
I make no claim to the acuracy of his infomation, nor take any responsibility for any errors that may be caused through use of these drivers.
